Snack Crack Party Mix

Snack Crack Party Mix is exactly what your Super Bowl Party (or any party) needs! It has mega crunch, a touch of sweetness and is lightly salty with a subtle amount of heat for a delicious sweet and savory flavor combo.

There are good party snacks and then there are party snacks where the bowl is empty before the game even starts. This Snack Crack Party Mix is not your average back of the cereal box kind of party mix, though I’m always 100% down for a bowl of chex mix nostalgia. It’s full of a variety of fun base snacks and is kicked up a notch with asian flavor.

The Munchies

When it comes to a party mix, there are two main elements – the dry snack ingredients and the sauce. A good variety of snacky things with different flavors, textures and shapes is essential to any bowl of snack mix. It adds an element of surprise when you find something you weren’t maybe expecting. And I think there’s something really fun about reaching into a bowl and discovering all kinds of crispy treasures. And this recipe has some serious mega munchie crunch:

  • Pretzels,
  • Corn nuts,
  • Sesame sticks,
  • Wasabi peas,
  • And mixed nuts.

And really, you can have so much fun playing around with differnet add ins. Just roam the grocery aisles and your bound to find some tasty options.

Pretzels aren’t typically my go to in a snack mix. And really, pretzels are usually the thing I pick around. But after the pretzels in this recipe are glazed and then baked to perfection, they become a crispy and irresistible part of the mix.

Talk Saucy To Me

The seasoning sauce is where you have the opportunity to bring the snack mix to the next level. The coconut aminos, sesame oil and garlic make this mix lightly salty and so deliciously savory. While, in addition to the wasabi peas, the red pepper adds just a touch of fire. And to balance out the savoriness and heat, adding something sweet like maple syrup ties it all together for a perfect and tasty flavor harmony.

  1. Fabulous taste! Just enough heat and a hint of sweet. Will definitely make this again. I couldn’t find wasabi peas, so I did substitute with wasabi flavor almonds. Still delicious!
